The Bays Chelsea Men's U23 side captured the USASA Region One Title with a 1-0 win over FC Delco at Kirkwood Field in Delaware on July 5th.

In the 40th minute, Marco Mangione sent a frozen rope through ball into the goal mouth from the left corner where Benny Kujawa found the back of the net with a dynamic diving header. The goal held up and gave the Baltimore Bays Chelsea team the Region One crown. 

At the National Final Four on July 24th in Samford, Florida, the 23s lost a tough 3-2 match finishing a match short of the National Final.   

For 2010, the team will organize in April time frame.  The team will again compete in the U23 USASA National Competition as well as play two times a week in June/July in the F Patrick Healey Cup, aka Champions Soccer League in Baltimore.
