Bays Name New Girls Coaching Director

The Baltimore Bays are pleased to announce Alison Healey as the Girls Coaching Director and Head Coach of the 2009 Girls team.  Healey returns to the Bays where she coached the highly successful Bays Angels 99 team and the Bays Chelsea 96.

Alison had a successful playing career as she helped lead her Soccer Club of Baltimore team to a State Championship and a National Indoor Championship.  Alison also helped lead her Catholic High School to a #1 Baltimore Ranking and a #4 ranking in the Nation where she was also a two-time All-Metro Player and a three-time All-City/County Player.  Alison was a standout player at Goucher College being named a three-time all-conference player and was the leading scorer in the Capital Athletic Conference. Alison is currently ranked 3rd in scoring in Goucher team history.

 

Alison said “I am very excited to be returning back to my roots with the Baltimore Bays organization.  I am looking forward to rebuilding the girls’ program and creating teams that demonstrate the excellence on and off the field that the Bays name has always represented.”

 

Alison will also coach the Baltimore Bays Girls 2009 side.

Named Bays Girls Coaching Director

Head Coach – 2009 Bays Girls Team

The Baltimore Bays are pleased to announce Alison Healey as the Girls Coaching Director and Head Coach of the 2009 Girls team.  Healey returns to the Bays where she coached the highly successful Bays Angels 99 team and the Bays Chelsea 96 team along with Joe Layfield.  While with the ’96 team, Alison coached against current USA Women’s National Team players Midge Purce and Imani Dorsey.

Alison said “I am very excited to be returning back to my roots with the Baltimore Bays organization.  I am looking forward to rebuilding the girls’ program and creating teams that demonstrate the excellence on and off the field that the Bays name has always represented.”

Healey had an outstanding playing career including the following individual and team achievements:

  • 3rd Leading Scorer in the History of Goucher College
  • Leading Scorer in the Capital Athletic Conference
  • Three Time All-Conference Player at Goucher
  • Helped Lead The Catholic High School of Baltimore to the MIAA Championship
  • Catholic High Finished as the #1 Team in Baltimore and #4 in the Nation
  • Was Named All-Metro her Junior and Senior Years in High School
  • Was selected all City/County for three years
  • Played for Soccer Club of Baltimore - State Cup Outdoor Champions and Regional Semi-Finalist. Team was also National Indoor Champions.
